I almost leased one new, the local dealer was having trouble moving them and you could lease one for $339 a month, took one for a test drive. Still my favorite drive in a “ modern” car (my definition of mo dern may be different than yours). Anyway, I had some insurance issues then and didn’t figure buying a little red sports car would help any.

Test drove one of these. I considered it. At the time, I couldn’t make it work to fit my chair in it. Nowadays, I would have much less problem. These things were priced so much higher than the FCs though. It was kind of sticker shock.
